Wu style Tai Chi Chuan and Ba Gua are internal martial and healing arts rooted in the ancient Chinese philosophy of the Tao, or “Great Ultimate,” and the Yin and Yang concept of opposing yet complementing forces.
Tai Chi is a powerful martial art and an excellent form of physical exercise. Slow and gentle movements, deep natural breathing, relaxation, balance, flexibility and proper posture increase energy and promote good health and longevity. Tai Chi harmonizes your mind, body and spirit.
Qigong is a skill for cultivating the life energy called Qi. It combines breathing exercises, body postures, relaxation and mental focus for improved energy, health and harmony.
Tai Chi and Qigong are about finding and cultivating harmony with natural breath, still posture and slow movement.
